Walk A Mile is definitely a family gathering.1 The Shelter shows their appreciation to both sponsors and walkers.2 This year the Barrie Police were out in force, seen here with MP John Brassard.3 It is the volunteers who pull it all together.4 The Shelter could not have asked for nicer weather.5 The boys from Two Men And A Truck were both sponsors and participants.6 Not sure where DC is going with this, but whatever ;-)7 If you have the gams, like trainer Dave Fraser, then show them off. 8 Imelda Marcos has nothing on this collection.9 T-shirts came in every size from small to 3XL.10 The dude looked likd a lady.11 Dale and Charlie from KoolFM kept the crowd entertained.12 Shelter Executive Director Teresa Maclennan thanked the crowd.13 Some came to walk, while others came to romp.14 The talented dancers of Cairo's Jewels Bellydance.15 Nicole Welsh and her team entertained.16 They also motivated the walkers, and got the blood pumping.17 You can't walk the walk until you shimmy and rock.18 This little one wanted to show everybody can do it.19 Presenting Sponsors Meridian Credit Union led the walk.20 This team is made up of local Barrie business owners.21 What a drag it is being bold ;-)22 They may not be heels, but at least our shoes were the right colour23 Hey guys, they sell red doggie booties at Petsmart . . . just saying ;-)24 The Meridian team were their own pep rally. Good job!25 A group photo was called for under the Spirit Catcher.26 These guys had the right idea.
