Living Green Barrie and Simcoe County Environmental Youth Alliance Tree Planting at Highland Park, 2020 November 1, 2020 Many people talk about the environment, but few can or do commit the time and effort needed to make a difference. On Saturday, November 24, 2020, our crew from Five Points Media caught up with about twenty students from the Simcoe County Environmental Youth Alliance who were working with members of Living Green Barrie to plant sixty trees and shrubs along the forested edge of Highland Park. We would like to thank the following sponsors of the City of Barrie Network. These businesses show they care about our shared community by helping us to provide a locally-focused truly local voice to you and your neighbours. They also enable our crew to be able to continue providing donated services to promote local benevolent community groups and charities based in The City of Barrie, the Town of Innisfil, and the Township of Oro-Medonte.
