Lost Boys Hope On Thin Ice, 2019 December 31, 2019 Our friends at Lost Boys Hope asked us to drop by their rescue facilities on December 21, 2019 to record the acceptance and fostering of 38 dogs rescued from the ice fields of northern Manitoba. The stories of what some of these dogs have been through is heartbreaking, but the love and appreciation they show after leaving the truck to meet their new friends at Lost Boys Hope is likely going to cause a few tears. There was no shortage of volunteers to provide temporary homes for these dozens of dogs and puppies as they waited for the right caring person to step up and give them a forever home. The full story of that day will be told here soon, but while there we also offered to record this appeal to the public for help in maintaining this very worthy cause. We would like to thank the following sponsors of the City of Barrie Network. These businesses show they care about our shared community by helping us to provide a locally-focused truly local voice to you and your neighbours. They also enable our crew to be able to continue providing donated services to promote local benevolent community groups and charities based in The City of Barrie, the Town of Innisfil, and the Township of Oro-Medonte.
