Gilda's Club of Simcoe Muskoka and Greater Toronto is a much needed and valued charitable organization that helps those struggling through a battle with cancer, and also their loved ones

Their staff and volunteers offer information about the illness, guidance regarding who can help and in what way, and support in various forms; however, one of their main strengths is the sense of community that they create through which survivors and their families link together and draw on each other.

Our main role has been to record the annual ‘Canada Cuts For’ event, through which various hairdressing salons raise money and awareness for Gilda's Club of Simcoe Muskoka and Greater Toronto

The relationship our production crew has with the staff of Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka is one of the longest lasting, going back to 2014. That predates the creation of the the OCANetwork, also known as Five Points Media, community-oriented, so all of our donated services to this very worthy cause were produced under the banner of 3B Solutions, our commercial production company. Our main contact there has been Neil Little, the creator and organizer of the 'Canada Cuts For' fundraiser, who as a hairstylist for many years has developed relationships with those in the business who donate their time to the fundraiser.

Through our association with Gilda's Club of Simcoe Muskoka and Greater Toronto we have developed many good friendships both personally and professionally, and we always look forward to assisting them in their next event.

Our work with Gilda's Club of Simcoe Muskoka and Greater Toronto has taken us to points across Southern Ontario and throughout Simcoe County, from Toronto to Midland and many points between, as Neil has opened up the region of support more each year to increase the value of his unique project.
