Barrie Community Tree Planting October 22, 2018 They could not have asked for nicer weather when Living Green Barrie joined forces with the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority - LSRCA and the Conservation Foundation to host the Barrie Community Tree Planting at the Sandy Hollow Disc Golf field beside the landfill in Barrie. About a hundred individuals and families registered to help plant 300 trees of various kinds that will provide a windbreak and improve our city's urban canopy. We spoke with organizers and with Barrie-Innisfill MPP Andrea Khanjin, who mucked in to plant a few trees with help from one of her staff. This video was made possible by contributions from Still Moving Osteopathy. All members of our crew have used their services and we highly recommend them for anybody suffering aches, pain, old injuries, or fatigue.
