Rose Romita's 2018 Community Christmas Dinner
The holidays are a time of family, friends, and feasting. However, for a growing portion of our community that time of good will to all does not extend to them.
Fortunately, in our City of Barrie, we have Rose Romita and her dozens of volunteers who every year collect food and funding from local businesses, caring people, and anonymous donors so they can provide a feast for our city's homeless, hungry, lonely, and lost.
It was the pleasure of our crew to again report on the generosity, caring, and true Christmas spirit demonstrated by these very giving people. We also, once again, had the opportunity to speak with Pastor Kevin Mast of the Hope City Church, who provided spiritual leadership to the attendees.
