Barrie Canada Day Promenade and Air Show, 2019
Our the OCANetwork, also known as Five Points Media, location crew of Producer John Ironside and Production Associate Tiffany Scott couldn’t put their feet up for the entirety of the long Canada Day weekend, as they joined forces to record some shots from the annual Promenade Days and then much of the Barrie Air Show.
While downtown we caught a few words from MPP Andrea Khanjin, a one-time child refugee from Russia, and also from City Councillor Natalie Harris who as a first responder experienced mental health issues that led to addiction. Both praised our country and how it is only in Canada that they could be now where they are.
The airshow, featuring both an F-18 acrobatics team and the Snowbirds, thrilled thousands who took in the perfect day on the shores of Kempenfelt Bay.
