Silent Swim to fight Cystic Fibrosis Raw Footage Compilation
This is uncut raw footage of Brenda Lussier-Neumueller's valiant attempt to swim across Lake Ontario
Despite being completely deaf, Brenda Lussier-Neumueller, the Silent Swimmer, swam across Lake Erie and then later tried but was not successful in crossing Lake Ontario. She came within about five kilometers of the Toronto finish line before heavy currents denied her victory after more than a full day of constant swimming, both all night and all day.
Our crew was with Brenda all the way, recording her progress from a zodiac inflatable boat
We are proud to post here a compilation of raw footage which documents Brenda Lussier-Neumueller’s struggle to cross Lake Ontario in 2015, and we hope to add to it footage from 2017 that will result in a documentary that will tell the true story of this brave woman's fight to succeed against all odds.
Brenda and our journey started on the shore of Lake Ontario at Niagara-On-The-Lake, and ended in Toronto Harbour
