Most people don't think about taking a jump in the lake in mid-March, but that is exactly what 32 people in Innisfil did on Saturday, March 19, 2022, to raise money for the Innisfil Food Bank and Innisfil's Christmas for Kids (all year round).

The event, Take The Plunge, was co-hosted by Friday Harbour Resort and the Innisfil Community Events Corporation, the latter of which has held the event in previous years.

The event is reported to have raised $2,930.00 and as one charity organizer told us, the exposure often inspires people to donate after the event, once they have seen something like our video online 😉
