The Patchless Ride for Autism 2016
Born to be wild
The Patchless Ride for Autism is an annual motorcycle rally organized and run by the membership of the ‘Patchless’ recreational riding club. The event draws thousands of riders of every kind, and all proceeds are donated to Autism Ontario.
In 2015 and 2016 our producer joined the ride as a passenger in first a sidecar mounted bike and then on the back seat of a trike.
The event draws from every corner of the biker world; from the hard-core live to ride bikers through to the recreational weekend warriors. At the event it is all about the ride and making money for the cause through registration, sponsorship, the sale of items for the club and Autism Ontario, and also raffles, prizes, etc. They also run an annual massive garage sale in the spring that we covered in 2016.
