York Durham Heritage Railway Escape Room, 2019
The York-Durham Heritage Railway is a non-profit community organization that is managed by a team of dedicated staff and enthusiastic volunteers. Their mission is to preserve and promote the heritage of Canadian railways of South-Central Ontario.
Our team of Producer John Ironside and Associate Producer Tiffany Scott answered the ‘all aboard’ to record the fun and thought-provoking adventure that was the York-Durham Heritage Railway Escape Room. This event drew people from all over Ontario, who wanted to study clues, figure out puzzles, and test their wits against each other in an attempt to figure out the final contest and win the day.
During the summer of 2019, we recorded several projects that were lost due to technical issues we could not surpass at that time. We managed to recover the original footage during the COVID shutdown. This video is one of those projects. We do not know when the York-Durham Heritage Railway will resume operations, but we encourage you to follow their updates at https://ydhr.ca
