Our crew at Five Points Media are always happy to show our support for Barrie Pride, Fierté Simcoe Pride, Georgian Pride, and any and all other groups that work to promote members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and support their right to love freely as is natural to them.

This year, 2023, was the tenth-anniversary parade for Barrie Pride, and participants chose to return to their roots and make the gathering a march rather than a collection of floats. Currently, small-minded and bigoted people are using the political drama of our neighbours to the south to attack queer people and especially those who identify as transgender. It is therefore more important than ever for all of us to stand up and be counted as supporters and allies.
