Swim For Dreams was a benevolent fundraiser intended to help children
This two part documentary tells the story of 15 year old Ashleigh Beacham; a young woman of phenomenal strength and courage who swam across Lake Ontario on August 18, 2013 in order to raise $10,000.00 for the Make A Wish Foundation of Southwestern Ontario so they could send a five year old boy with leukemia to Disney World.
Our crew accompanied Ashleigh across the lake, shooting mostly from a zodiac inflatable boat.

More than 18 hours after launching herself into the cold waters of Lake Ontario, in the dead of night from Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ashleigh Beacham successfully completed her Swim For Dreams as she finished at Marilyn Bell Park in Toronto.
