On Friday, October 12, our Producer, John Ironside, ventured to Georgian Mall, in Barrie, to record the Idle No More Flash Round Dance at Georgian Mall, Barrie, where Indigenous members of our community were speaking out against prejudice, biased legal rulings by the judiciary, a lack of respect shown by by all levels of our government, and the lack of action regarding the thousands of Indigenous women who have been murdered or who have been reported missing since the 1970s. Through a combination of song and dance, these peaceful protesters drew quite a crowd while handing out helpful and insightful information.
