Innisfil Drive-By Christmas Parade, 2021
The COVID-19 pandemic has denied most of us many of the simple pleasures in life, including those around family events like Christmas. In Innisfil, the Innisfil Community Events Corporation, in cooperation with many local businesses, created for the second time in as many years a COVID safe Christmas parade event during which the viewers travelled within their cars around floats and exhibitors. This ensured only small groups gathered, with those being mostly families, and the participants remained socially distanced.
Our crew followed the thousands of cars that flocked to the Innisfil Recreation Centre to see Santa and enjoy all of the Christmas celebrations.
