On Saturday, April 23, 2022, our crew was at The Wilds at Cedar Valley Golf Course with local fundraisers for TRF. The event was "Go The Distance" through which about a hundred participants of all ages rode stationary bikes trying to ride further and faster than anybody else during ten-minute relays.

The TRF provides financial support for families when a child is stricken with cancer. When a child is diagnosed and admitted into a hospital for treatment, one parent has to become a full-time representative and care provider, meaning they usually have to give up their job. This of course puts strain on the family financially. The TRF helps with mortgage or rent payments, car loan payments, and other expenses in order to help ensure the family does not fall heavily into debt due to the diagnosis.
