Barrie's new 'Transit On Demand' system is reported to be inefficient and unreliable.

On October 30, 2024, our crew met with protesters from Barrie Riders, who were trying to spread the message that we need to fix the problems that are lessening the value of Barrie Transit.

The main issue was Transit On Demand, a new service that is supposed to optimize services for passengers, but according to protesters, is causing all manner of issues for those who do not drive, or who must at least partially rely on public transportation.. Full details can be found here.
