Macbeth, or 'the Scottish play' is one of the most widely read of Shakespeare works by high school students around the world. It is the story of a hero who is driven by his ambitious wife, and witches, and his own desire for power to become a king, but who instead falls to madness and disgrace.
For a short time, until September 8, 2019, Burro'd Theatre, based in Barrie, is presenting this classic play, as performed under the stars in the backyard of a house at 61 Park St, Barrie.
